  Dearest Brian, we're so very sorry that you are no longer with us - but very thankful to have had you in our lives. We couldn't have wished for a better step-dad/grandad.   Lovely Brian, dry, witty, frank and calm in a crisis, he would go out of his way to help others, with a quiet sigh, he'd get up from his brief rest and start again, putting the chicken on the BBQ, fixing a leak, building a fence, 'aquarolling' at the caravan, making sure everyone was accommodated for and looked after. With a slight roll of the eyes and a wry smile, he'd shake his head at mum's latest whim or crazy idea. You were loved lots and will be missed much. Rest easy from one of your adoptees. ❤️ Xxx

  My dad my hero, who has been my rock since loosing mum. Where do I start we have made many memories over the years, only wish there was time for more but no one can take them from me. I would do anything for you day or night Saturdays now will never be the same. Your with mum now and you can tell her I kept my promise I did it!! And will continue to try and make you proud. It's not good bye never but see you later dad until we're together again. I love you dad hope you knew. Sleep easy now and have a brandy with mum xxxxxx
