Obituary For David John Martin
The world became a little less bright on the 13th September 2025 with the passing of David John Martin, 60, in the presence of loved ones.
David was born in Hillingdon and grew up in Hayes, where he spent much of his life surrounded by family, friends and the things he loved most. A man of quick wit and quiet strength, he will be remembered for his kindness, his love of horse racing, England rugby, cryptic crossword puzzles and his lifelong support for West Ham United - no matter how hard they made it.
He leaves behind his son Luke, daughter Kelly and granddaughter Harriet, who were the pride and joy of his life.
David’s warmth, loyalty and generosity touched everyone who knew him. He will be deeply missed.
In honouring David’s wishes his family have opted for a private, unattended service to celebrate his life. We invite friends and loved ones to cherish David’s memory in their own special way.
