Obituary For Faizul Ansari Kahlil Mohamed

In Loving Memory of

Faizul Ansari Kahlil Mohamed 20th March 2025 – London

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved father, grandfather, and friend, Faizul Ansari Kahlil Mohamed, who died peacefully in London on 20th March 2025.

Faizul lived a full and adventurous life. His award winning career in financial software sales spanned decades and more than 20 companies, but what truly defined him wasn’t just his professional succes, it was his brilliant mind, his sharp wit, his curiosity, and his unique ability to connect with people from all walks of life.

He called many places home, Australia, New York, Singapore, London, and Thailand and wherever he went, he built friendships and left behind stories, laughter, and the occasional unforgettable opinion.

He will be remembered for his warmth, his humour, his love of conversation, and the deep affection he had for his family and friends.

Faizul was also a vivid storyteller, a passionate foodie, and a music enthusiast, always ready with a tale, a restaurant recommendation, or a new artist he discovered to match the moment.

Faizul was a devoted father to Ariella, Fareita, and Kahlil, and a loving grandfather to Fortnum, Maia, Amber, Felicity, and Roselyn, each of whom lit up his world in their own way. He also shared a lifelong bond and enduring friendship with his former wife, Reita Mohamed, whose presence remained a constant and comforting part of his life. He was a friend to many and a Godfather.

He will be remembered for his warmth, his humour, his love of conversation, and the deep affection he had for his family and friends. He leaves behind memories filled with insight, laughter, kindness, and the occasional cheeky remark that only he could pull off.

I was so sorry to hear of Faizul's passing. He was a true family friend and we had the best of times with him, for many years. As you say, he was a brilliant storyteller and his sense of humour was unique as was his generosity of spirit and kindness towards us and all his friends. He will be sorely missed. His warmth, optimism and sheer bravado gave many of us some very hilarious memories on the ski slope. He was truly unique when he got a set of planks tied to his feet but always bore it well and stoically . I will miss those days.
