I knew a day like this would come when necessity would beckon at me to write a tribute in memory of my motherfondly called "Iya EJi" by her husband my dad Samuel Oluyemi but never within my contemplation that it would happen this soon ;yes this soon 81 years, i thought she'd live till 120 years as promised by Moses in my Bible> "Iya Eji" with all sense of responsibility ,i consider myself blessed to be your son,and since your demise, i have been inundated with several testimonies of your goodness to people and your sterling qualities. You have been variously described as gentle, kind, humble, easy going, virtuos,God fearing, accomodating, philanthropic, humane etc. As your son, I attest to all the qualities peoplw have mentioned about you ,some of which are enumerated above, but i never knew you had touched and impacted so many lives until you passed on and i began to hear them say this things . At your eleventh hour you spoke your mind how that you love intently notwithstanding the reproof it was all a means to a beautiful end.You never turn deaf ear to the cry of the needy and always ready to assist at all times denting your account balance . You are what the Bible teaches "1 Jn3:17 " "but whose hath this worlds good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him?" I attest to this "God kind of love" in you all these qualities guarantee heaven. Sleep on "Iya Eji" mummy mi atata .Rest in peace .Your children and all your grandchildren will forever miss you. I console myself with the truth of the word of God 1 Thes 4:13- end, we will meet again in heaven. O daroo! ~Taiwo Olaniyi Abe

I am certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. Because they continue to participate in every act, thought, and decision we make. Your love and words of encouragement will forever live an indelible mark in our memories. Continue to rest in the bosom of the Almighty.
