I have such fond memories of Graham when he came to stay for weekends when Matt, Tom and Laura were young. He will be fondly remembered and I will be thinking of you all on Saturday when you celebrate his life and happy memories together. Sending love Sarah

We are so lucky to have such a funny, caring and supportive grandad where nothing was too much trouble. Grandad would always ask me how my running was going and what competitions were coming up next. One competition lined up with when nan and grandad were in Bournemouth and they came to watch. I won't forget how loud he cheered, I could hear him on the back straight of the track. I felt so lucky to have my grandparents there to watch me! I hope I can continue to make him proud! Love you grandad, Laura xxx

Grandad Graham was a great man who could always light up a room with a funny anecdote from his youth. I will always remember the weekends where him and nan came down to look after us and the fun we had together, from taking me to play cub football to watching the cherries in the premier league. Thank you for everything you did for me, I will remember you always. Love Matt

Grandad was a role model and an amazing person who looked after us grandchildren every fortnight at the weekends with nan. We had so much fun with them. I will always remember going on walks with him and his beloved dogs and how he would never leave a speck of food on his plate. I will always treasure his humour and personality that would always leave a smile on your face and all the trips we made to AFC Bournemouth games. Thank you for being such an amazing grandad all my love Tom.

Dad was my hero. He taught me so much, things that you didn't learn in school. They were his values. They never changed. I always remember him telling me off when I was young for throwing a sweet wrapper on the pavement. He made me pick it up and put it in the nearest bin. That was Dad. He was a hard working man, loyal to his family, his many friends and colleagues. At the centre of his world was Wendy, his wife. He was devoted to her from the day they met. Their relationship was summed up recently rather beautifully. Andy, they said, I've never seen love like this - they have something so special together it's priceless. It most certainly was. Dad loved football. He was a talented player from a golden generation of young men from Whiteway. He was also a successful manager of Jubilee Sports. How I loved our trips to Ashton Gate back in the day. On our way home we talked tactics and I would invariably say Gerry Gow was the best player on the pitch. I recently asked him who was the greatest of all time. His response was immediate as this player embodied all the values Dad held dear. The player was Duncan Edwards. As well as football Dad was passionate about most sports. He played golf, cricket , skittles and darts to name a few. He was always competitive always tried his best but most importantly valued making friendships which lasted a lifetime. Finally he was a wonderful Grandad to Matt, Tom and Laura. We had so much fun during all those weekends he spent with us in Bournemouth. The sport days in our garden the long walks along the beach they were such happy times that Helen and I will cherish forever. He was so generous with his time , always willing to help nothing was too much trouble . Thank you Dad from the bottom of my heart. Your values will live on forever. Goodnight Dad Up the Cherries x
