We will always miss you Nan, you were always there for us, always there to talk to and always so kind, caring and loving. We had the most amazing time when I was little and we have always loved every time we have seen you. You helped me become who I am today and I owe you so much. We will always miss you and always think of you. We love you so much Nan, with all our hearts. You have finally found peace now after suffering for so long X xxx Always love you, Luke, Jessica, Oliver, Elliott and Esmée x

Last night I lost my guiding Light and the most loving Mum and Nan to my 4 children. I can always remember as a child every Sunday we would go on a mystery drive and I mean a mystery drive we would often end up lost in some country lane😀. The Children would love it as each time we came to stay at your house you and pops would take the children crabbing 🦀on the Quay and they wouldn't want to leave until they had caught some crabs. I can also remember that time when we went to hengistbury head and as we got to the top heavens opened and we all had to run back down the hill to the car. There are to many fun times we had to mention them all. The world is a cruel place and handed you a really cruel ending, as much as it hurts we know that you are now free of pain. I'm heartbroken but will forever cherish you. You'll be the brightest star in the sky, forever in our hearts ❤️💫

Yesterday we lost an absolute queen of the family! All I keep thinking about is Friday when we last came to see you, Calling Jack Josh whoever Josh is & asking him ' are you two going to get together'😂😂 you kept making us laugh until your last breath, you're now out of pain and free✨, thankyou for all the memories, the sleepovers as a kid, playing bowls on the beach & crabbing with pops & lastly making me and Jack stand next to eachother for about 10 minutes whilst you tried to take a photo of us with your iPad which you wasn't the best at using🫡😂, you didn't deserve all the suffering you've been put through, life is just bullshit & crawl at times💔, I will always remember your last words to me being 'I love you'✨🤍! Your forever be the brightest star in the sky & I will forever love you nan, rest easy Janet Astridge🥹🤍
