We all know you didn't do soppy but even when I want to write down the words to express how I feel about you, I can't. Words will never be enough to describe you. Thankyou for all the memories over the years, I will treasure your love and messages forever. So grateful to have known and loved you. Rest well. X

So glad to have known you Julie. It's been a long time since we met or spoke in person, but done some fb in recent years. I treasure the time we spent 'playing shops' working together on a project and your pragmatic 'sod it ' but get it done attitude. You and Simon 'broke free 'and enjoyed life despite the Big c - so inspirational. Miss you 😘

Thank you for welcoming a young family 11 years ago onto Riverside. You have always been there (and Simon) when we needed advice or just a practical helping hand. The life and soul of book club. There to listen when I needed a moan or to find out some gossip! The street certainly won't be the same without you. Rest in Peace Julie. X

So long Julie and may you rest in peace. I am so sorry that you have gone, but glad that your pain is over. I have such lovely memories of the 30 odd years we have known each other first as colleagues and then as friends. I will mostly remember the laughs we shared as well as the kindness that you and Simon have shown me, my family and friends. I will never be able to listen to Bohemian Rhapsody or I will survive again without thinking of you, and smiling! Goodbye pal, Jim

Julie, I was so glad you spoke to me over my garden wall in Burlawn all those years ago. I was so lucky to get to know you over blankets and spreadsheets. You brought such wisdom, good sense, compassion and kindness everywhere you went, and were such a support to me when my business was struggling. I loved your dry wit and your wicked sense of humour, and missed our chats in the bunker when you left. Your stamina and determination to squeeze everything out of life were amazing. I can only remember you smiling and laughing; practical, pragmatic and always ready with a quick quip to lighten the mood. Thank you for everything you gave us. We were privileged to know you. Much love, Jo and Meredith xx

You left home before I can remember. The big sister who always lived away but I always looked forward to visiting you. Hopefully I gave you confidence in London all those years ago when I guided you on the underground when you went for your interview for the civil service. You were always the clever one. The brains of the family. The Chartered Accountant. I often wound you up about your utter dislike of cheesecake, marshmallows - and tunnels! It meant a lot to me when you welcomed and got to know my future wife - Heather. She always thought you were amazing and glamorous. Life dealt you a rough hand. It gave you cancer when you were just 46 years old. Yet through the treatment and it's awful side effects you kept your sense of humour. You made me laugh. You gave me inspiration. The comments that others have made since your passing, the esteem that others hold you in, make me inexcusably proud to have been able to call you my sister. They say that only the body dies - but the soul lives on. Wherever you may be I trust that you've found Lesley, Frankie, Jonnie & Coco, No more suffering. Godspeed Love always, Peter

It was a privilege to know you warrior woman. You fought with all your heart and soul until all was done. I'll remember millennium newyears eve with great happiness as we watched fireworks together and finished off the night with a robust , if not entirely in key, rendition of bohemian rhapsody. Sleep well lovely lady. You deserve the peace. X
