Heaven has now gained the best peg chair maker 🪑. My early memories of grandfather was his over use of aftershave which I'm sure was Brut ha ha . 94 is an amazing age but now it's time to rest in peace grandfather xx Ps I'm sure Dad , Derek, Maureen or Robert will take up the Peg chair making as they had a great teacher .

What can I say about Grandad... a man who shared his love for Spurs and had a determination to make people laugh, even if it was with his famously dodgy jokes. Some of my favourite memories with him are small, but they'll stay with me forever. When I was younger, I remember him watching me, my dad, and uncle play snooker. He always claimed he could play, but never quite made it to the table. He always talked a good game. Only last Saturday, he was telling Dad how great a golfer he was "back in the day"... though we're not convinced he's ever played. I'll never forget sitting in the back of Dad's car when, as a passenger, Grandad started flirting with a woman in the car next to us at the traffic lights, all be-it through closed windows. I'm not sure she even noticed but seeing this 80 something, year old man have that much confidence still makes me smile now. Later in life, he enjoyed making all sorts of things to pass the time, and he once built a little bus for my son, Otis, which I know he spent a long time doing and mean't a lot to us. We might not have spent the most time together, but I'll always cherish the moments we did and I promise to continue to take your love for Tottenham with me, no matter how painful being a spurs fan can be. Rest in peace, Grandad. x

Our Dad, you will be surely missed by us all. The endless jokes and stories you came out with even though we all heard them many times, especially about the horse farting at the Spurs ground. You loved your football and always asked me "Is there any news on Spurs" when I visited you. If there's a heaven and your up there don't forget to have a word with Billy Bremner about Dave Mackay, another of your stories. Rest in peace now Dad with your Beloved Lilly. In our thoughts always. Ken & Sue XX

One of my first ever memories of Grandad was when my hamster died. Grandad & Lil were visiting so he took me to the Garden centre to buy a new hamster. I don't have a lot of memories with him but that one has stuck. I feel grateful that I got to see him one last time before he left us to be reunited with his Lil. The last thing he said to me when I left was "You are always smiling" I will take that with me. To remember to always smile. Rest easy Grandad! Love Hannah. P.S. Elliott said thank you for always spoiling him for money to spend on his favourite things! Xxx
