Obituary For Leonard Fitzgerald
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Len Fitzgerald on 9th of January at the age of 84. He was the loving husband of Valerie Fitzgerald of 61 years, father of Samantha Huggett and Paul Fitzgerald, grandfather to Cydney Woodhams, Kimberley Woodhams, Ella Fitzgerald and Sadie Fitzgerald, and eldest brother to Desmond and Martin Fitzgerald. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
In honouring Len's wishes we are doing a Celebration of Life at The Lamb Inn, in Old Town Eastbourne on Friday 13th February 2026 3pm onwards.

Dearest uncle Len, you were larger than life. Will never forget how you told me you were a dentist and used a string tied to a door handle and one of my teeth when it was loose, it worked too! May your soul rest in eternal peace.xx
