My lovely auntie Norma! My memories of you mostly come from my childhood as we moved away to Essex in 1978. We often came to visit on a Sunday where you would put on a fabulous buffet tea (trust me to remember the food). The rest of the visits would be you, Les and my parents sitting at the dining table playing cards together while us children were upstairs playing and making a mess. I also remember just turning up at your door a few times, having gone on a bike ride, and luckily you were always there and welcoming. You made me feel safe and looked after, and I thank you dearly for that. You were a fabulous mother to your beautiful girls and I will remember you with much affection. Rest in peace auntie. Xxx

Norma and I became friends in the 1950's through a school program. Our friendship lasted through through her lifetime. I cherish the times I spent with her and her family when I visited my daughter who now lives in England. I loved her dearly and my heart goes out to Jayne, Lorna and Les. I feel privileged to call her "friend" . She has a special place in my heart. Sending sympathy and great love. Karen Wightman
