Obituary For Paul Price
It is with heavy hearts; we announce the passing of Paul Price, beloved husband, devoted father and grandfather, cherished son, brother, friend and colleague. Paul left us suddenly on the 17th of January 2026 at the age of 59. He will be dearly missed by his wife, children, family, friends and colleagues.
Born on December 30th, 1966, in Kent, Paul grew into a man of quiet strength, boundless kindness and unwavering integrity. He carried gentle grace in his daily life always ready with a patient ear, a helping hand or a warm smile for everyone he met. His love for his wife and children was his compass guiding him through every season of life.
As a husband he was the steady, steadfast centre of his home. He opened his arms to Delene in 1988 with enduring devotion, sharing in every joy and weathering every challenge together. He believed in words spoken with care, in gestures that spoke louder than speeches and the quiet power of a partner who stands beside you through it all.
As a father, he lavished his children with encouragement, laughter and timeless wisdom. He taught them to dream boldly, work hard and treat others with respect and compassion. Family dinners, weekends around the fire and late-night conversations were the threads that wove their family’s fabric. He celebrated every milestone with pride and offered gentle guidance during every setback always reminding them that they were loved.
He leaves behind his colleagues at Samsung, where he worked as head of technical operations for over a decade. Paul’s colleagues describe him as ‘more than a manager’ he was a mentor to many. Always ready to guide and advise on more than work issues.
Paul leaves behind a legacy of kindness, generosity and service. Whether lending a hand to a neighbour, mentoring a colleague or simply being present. Paul made the world a kinder, more interesting place. He cherished the simple things, a cup of tea on the front of their boat, conversations around the fire telling stories of the past or sunset witnessed from a hot tub in quiet seclusion with Delene and Noodles. Paul understood that life's true riches were found in connection, kindness and love.
Paul is survived by his loving wife Delene, his children; Mellisa, Rouchelle and Steven, his grandchildren; Kayden, Lucas, Liara, Raelyn, Paul, Ziva and Raiden. His mum Moira, his sisters; Michelle and Angela and his extended family, wide circle of friends and colleagues. He is preceded by his dad, Ted, his mother and father-in-law Pauline and Johnny.
In the words of those who knew him, Paul lived with a quiet generosity that touched countless lives. He loved deeply, laughed fully and faced each day with courage and hope. May we honour his memory by living with the same kindness, curiosity and devotion that defined his days.
