Obituary For Wyatt Alan Christiansen
Wyatt (65), passed away on Thursday 18th January 2024 at Sandwell General Hospital, Birmingham, UK with his wife, Pauline at his side.
Wyatt was born in Rockford, IL on 19th November 1957 to Robert and Louise. He was one of five children, Pat, Vern, Karen and Sherry.
Wyatt enrolled in the American Air Force where he spent some time at the Whitehouse working for the President, Jimmy Carter who even presented Wyatt with a letter thanking him for his contribution. He flew in Air Force One and even guarded the Queen of England during her Silver Jubilee year visit to America.
Wyatt then spent some time as a Police Officer in the Chicago Police Force.
Wyatt and Val (his first wife) had a daughter Stacy who still lives in Rockford with her husband and Wyatt's grandson Dante.
He married Pauline on 10th March 2004 in Niagara, New York. Wyatt became a step grandfather to Eleanor, Beatrice, Robert and Henry.
Wyatt enjoyed playing golf as well as painting, carpentry and watching his baseball team the Cubs, and American football team, the Bears.
Wyatt was diagnosed with heart disease in 2005 and two years later had a triple heart operation. After a period of time he obtained employment as a Retail Manager but after 8 years he suffered a stroke which made it impossible for him to work.
Wyatt is to be cremated on Tuesday 6th February at a 'pure cremation' at his request and his ashes will be collected on Friday 9th February.
